Karen Dianne Baldwin, (born September 6, 1963, London, Ontario, Canada) was the winner of the 1982 Miss Canada and Miss Universe pageants?one of 2 Canadian women to win Miss Universe, the other being Natalie Glebova who won Miss Universe 2005. Baldwin was also the first Canadian winner of Miss Universe. She was crowned Miss Universe in Lima, Peru and then relinquished her crown to Lorraine Downes the following year in the United States. She later hosted The New You, a Canadian fashion and lifestyle television program.
